Kyla E Druckman is an actress, writer, director based in Los Angeles, Phoenix, and Atlanta.

As a child, she started her career as an award-winning actor in theaters throughout Phoenix, AZ. After directing an award-nominated musical her senior year in high school, her original children’s play, The Battle of Little Big Red, premiered at the Fountain Hills Theater.

She briefly matriculated at Barrett Honors College in Arizona State University, before studying film in Spain, and graduating with Honors at New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts. Kyla also holds a masters from the London Academy of Music and Dramatic arts in Classical Theatre and Performance.

Kyla has acted in film and television, appearing on Spike TV and Starz in addition to commercials for AT&T and Specsavers. In 2011, she founded Toad in the Hole Productions LLC, a production company specializing in off-beat independent films. Her original short film, Crazy Town, which she co-starred with Sean Young and Michael Monks, has been honored by the Other Venice Film Festival, La Femme Film Fest, and on PBS.

On stage, career highlights include Brutus in Julius Caesar at the Sainsbury Theatre in London, Portia in Merchant of Venice in Shakespeare in the Vines, and Sketch comedy at the Times Square Arts Center, NY. She has performed in regional theater throughout the Los Angeles area.

As a director, Kyla focuses on dynamic staging and innovative story-telling techniques to create an immersive theater experience. Her passion is to bring high-quality theater to underserved communities and keep the classics alive by reimagining works for modern sensibilities.
